From his two missions aboard the International Space Station, Thomas Pesquet brought back 245,000 photos of Earth, including thousands of France. It is by relying on these clichés that the film was born Thomas Pesquet, French goalbroadcast on Tuesday April 25 at 9:10 p.m. on France 2.
The astronaut went to see if what he had discovered from above corresponded to what was happening below. He immerses himself in the Guyanese canopy, the glaciers of the Alps in the face of global warming, returns to the family farm in Normandy. The images are both sublime and dramatic.
