Thrilling Doubles Competitions

The tournament kicked off with the doubles competitions, where the current state champion Philip Unterberger teamed up with Günter Rechberger to clinch victory in the men’s category. This triumph marked Unterberger’s third consecutive win in doubles, while Rechberger successfully defended his title from last year in Friedberg. Following closely behind were Christian Kautschitz and Wolfgang Fussi, who secured second place, with Nenad Cindric and Thomas Cichy finishing third.

In the women’s doubles, the formidable duo of Eva Spari and Sabine Janek emerged victorious, defeating Alica König and Sarah Nuster in a gripping final. The mother-daughter team of Jasmin and Katharina Weichhardt claimed third place, adding to the day’s excitement.
