Sergei Bobrovsky blocked 26 shots and Eetu Luostarinen scored the game-winning goal in the third period to help the Florida Panthers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 on Friday.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson also scored, while Anton Lundell had two assists for the Panthers. Aleksander Barkov completed the scoring into an empty net.

Reilly Smith scored the goal for the Penguins, who have lost their last four games. Tristan Jarry stopped 31 pucks.

The Penguins got a golden chance to tie the game, 2-2, when Lundell was punished for hooking with 2:39 left in regulation. The Penguins have not scored a power play goal in their last 37 opportunities, spanning 14 games. Their last power play goal dates back to November 11. This is the worst streak in team history.

After the Lundell penalty, Barkov scored into an empty net with 26.7 seconds left, while Jarry was replaced by an extra player.

The Panthers took a 2-1 lead with 13:50 left in the game when the puck ended up in front of the net and Luostarinen knocked it in.

Chinakhov scores two goals and the Blue Jackets triumph 5-2 against the Blues

Yegor Chinakhov scored two goals in the third period and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the St. Louis Blues 5-2 on Friday night.

Jet Greaves stood out by stopping 41 shots for the Blue Jackets, who ended a three-game losing streak.

Kirill Marchenko had a goal and an assist while Adam Fantilli and Alexandre Texier both found the back of the net on one occasion. Dmitri Voronkov contributed to two Blue Jackets goals.

Robert Thomas scored both goals for the Blues, who have lost three of their last four outings. Joel Hofer blocked 17 pucks.

Fantilli gave the Blue Jackets a 2-1 lead late in the first period, extending his point streak to three games.

Chinakhov put the game out of reach for the Blues by scoring two goals in less than six minutes in the final period.
