The 4 brothers are determined, voluntary, available, constantly in the exchange and the desire to refine their art. They write and compose as they breathe. It is this unquenchable passion that slowly pushes them towards French variety.
Hopen moves its cursor, strong in its history, eager for another playground. And this is how their 5th album “Brothers”.
On this record produced by Jean-Etienne Maillard, nice collaborations. With “Friend where did you put”, the Ben Mazué/Renaud Rebillaud tandem points to a misery which, dredged up by hatred and violence, becomes extremism, while Antoine Graugnard slips here and there his sharp pen of support on a few titles.
With “Brother”, the four vital forces that make up Hopen invite us to open the door to hope !
