Six years later, can Demi Vollering achieve the same feat as her coach and sports director, Anna van der Breggen? The Dutchwoman, who has already raised her arms in the Amstel Gold Race and the Flèche wallonne, is aiming for the hat-trick in Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Sunday April 23 (live from 11:30 a.m. on France 4 and on france.tv). The SD Worx rider is one of three former winners of the Dean of the Classics at the start, along with Lizzie Deignan (Trek Segadredo) and Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar).
The runners set off from Bastogne to reach Liège on a course of 142 kilometers, including 130 in common with the men’s race. They will launch an attack for the first time from the coasts Wanne, Stockeu and Haute-Levée. Follow the race live.
