Thanks to a throw at 77.95 meters, the Frenchman ensured his qualification for the hammer final on Friday.
Quentin Bigot will be there for the final. The French thrower, one of the first Tricolores on the track at the Eugene Worlds (United States), qualified for the hammer throw final on Friday July 15. With a throw of 77.95 meters, Bigot climbed into the final, scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. (French time), with the seventh mark of the evening. Poland’s Pawel Fajdek (80.09m) and Wojciech Nowicki (79.22m), and American Daniel Haugh (79.34m) had the three best throws in qualifying.
