Frenchman Jason Tesson wins the first stage in Andouille

The French rider Jason Tesson of the St-Michel Aubert 93 formation won this Thursday, May 26 for the first stage of the 47th edition of the Boucles de la Mayenne, a long stage of 180 kilometers linking Saint-Pierre-des-Landes, near Ernée, in the north-west of the department to Andouille. The Angevin won ahead Bram Welten of Groupama FDJ and Thomas Boudat of Go Sport Roubaix Lille Métropole.

Jason Tesson will wear the yellow jersey this Friday for the second stage.

Les Boucles de la Mayenne, an event to experience for four days on France Bleu Mayenne and on the application here by France Bleu and France 3.

Second stage this Friday

The runners will leave this Friday from Jublains for an arrival at Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson, in the north of the department. This second 171 km long stage promises to be the most difficult of this edition, with in particular three ascents of Mont des Avaloirs.
