The freediver broke his own world record on Thursday July 20 in the Bahamas.

He reached 122 meters deep in 3 minutes and 35 seconds. French freediver Arnaud Jerald broke his own bi-fin constant weight world record on Thursday 20 July. He participates in the Bahamas in the Caribbean in the most prestigious freediving event in the world, the Vertical Blue. During his descent, he suffered a pressure thirteen times greater than that felt in the atmosphere.

The freediver is not at his first try since this record is the eighth of his career. When the 27-year-old Marseillais comes to the surface, he savors: “I was calm, there is a good safety team around me. Very happy to do this dive after a busy winter in training, and a lot of time spent here in the Bahamas”did he declare.
