Born in Paris in 1940, the singer grew up in a family of musicians. He studied for nine years at the city Conservatory, trained on the clarinet before becoming a teacher himself. It was during the Mediterranean Festival that he discovered Spain, where he represented France in song with All you know.
After spending two years in Latin America, where he honed his Spanish, he moved to the land of Cervantes. This is where Georgie Dann gained notoriety thanks to her dancing and festive variety songs in Spanish. His first success? El Casatschock in 1969, which was followed by dozens of summer hits such as El bimbó, Carnival, carnival, El Chiringuito Where La Barbacoa. Some cross borders, as far as Holland, Belgium, or even Greece.
After a moment of inactivity at the end of the 90s, he returns with some melodies which will not meet the success of yesteryear. His songs, often light and humorous, will nevertheless have marked several generations of Spaniards.
