The French international is due to appear before English courts on Wednesday November 17 to declare whether or not he pleads guilty in the six cases of rape and sexual assault of which he is accused. Four women are at the origin of the complaints against him and against Louis Saha Matturie, all over 16 years old.
The former Monaco and Marseille player, who has already been refused three bail requests since being in pre-trial detention, now has two days, until Thursday, to plead guilty or not guilty. In the latter case, the 2018 world champion will then have to defend himself during a trial which should take place in January 2022.
