This movement follows an unsuccessful meeting between management and union delegates, particularly on salaries. The inter-union (CGT, Unsa, CFDT and Cidre-CFTC) are demanding a 7% salary increase, while management is proposing an increase of 4.5%, as well as one euro more on each restaurant ticket.

“Only one event is super important for Apple, it’s the release of a new iPhone”explains to franceinfo Renaud Chateauroux, CFDT national delegate within the company. “So it’s to show how serious we are in this movement” than the strike carried out at the time of the launch of the new iPhone.

“We tell management that we are not asking for the moon”continues Renaud Chateauroux. “We are just asking to be able to live with dignity as employees in the richest company in the world”. “When I go to sell an iPhone 15 Pro Max with maximum storage capacity, and which will come out, it is worth as much as my salary”he adds.

“Apple has great ambitions to save the world and save customers with the Apple Watch, but it should do the same thing for the social policy of its employees within Apple Stores”finishes Albin Voulfow.
