French actor Ary Abittan has been in custody since Sunday, October 31 after a rape complaint was filed against him, Franceinfo learned Monday from the Paris prosecutor’s office, confirming information from Here. The 47-year-old comedian, made popular by the blockbuster film saga What have we done to the good Lord?, is heard by the first district of the judicial police of Paris.
The complaint which concerns him was filed Saturday, October 30 by a woman with whom the actor had occasional relations.
Ary Abittan is due to start touring in December for his new show titled Pour de Vere, with 52 dates scheduled across France during the year 2022. He also toured in the third installment of What the hell have we done?, which is set to hit theaters on February 2.
