The star revealed in the film Slumdog Millionaire released in 2009 married her fiance, the charming American photographer Cory Tran. This union came several months ago, as the world was idling due to the global health crisis and everyone was forced to spend the day at home.
Kelly Clarkson wanted to know how her guest the preparations for her wedding, surely for soon given that the lovers had formalized their engagement in November 2019 on Instagram. “Oh, great. We are already married“, then launched Freida Pinto, to the great surprise of Kelly Clarkson and the public who did not fail to congratulate the actress. The young bride then said a little more about this secret wedding:”It’s a very romantic story if you want to know. Of course, when we got engaged, we thought we would have this most magical wedding (…) I wasn’t planning a big Indian wedding. It was going to be something nice and simple … And then the Covid came along and it’s still there and we just realized that we were going to organize this for the rest of our lives and probably never going to do it.”
It was then that Freida Pinto and Cory Tran decided to say yes to each other in the greatest simplicity. “We went to the Honda Center in Anaheim (California) and we just got married. Honestly, I have to tell anyone who wants to get married, surely you should know that, I don’t want to cause an ulcer while preparing for my wedding. It was perfect ! We got married and then we came home and took an afternoon nap“, added Freida Pinto, overwhelmed by her express wedding.
It is therefore as a married woman that the actress will soon become a mother. The one who was in a relationship with Dev Patel until 2014, her partner in Slumdog Millionaire, revealed that she was expecting her first child last June on Instagram. The arrival of the baby is very soon since his birth is scheduled for this fall.
