Thanks to a good jump from Lewis Irving at the end, the representatives of the maple leaf kept the Swiss, fourth, at bay. The Americans had the upper hand over the Chinese to get their hands on the gold.

Irving collected 111.76 points in his last appearance on the platform to give a serious boost to his team having totaled 290.98 points. Previously, Miha Fontaine redeemed a poor jump from her teammate Marion Thénault by adding more than 116 points to her country’s record.
