Sebastian Aho, Steven Lorentz and Nino Niederreiter hit the mark in the second half against Jack Campbell.

Andrei Svechnikov added a goal from an empty net and Jaccob Slavin collected two assists.

The Hurricanes have a perfect record, also going 5-0-0 in 2019-2020.

In the loss, Campbell stopped 31 pucks.

In their last four outings, the Maple Leafs are 0-3-1 and have been limited to one goal in three of those four games.

Auston Matthews gave the Maple Leafs the lead with his first goal of the season 3:25 off the opening period

Since the Hurricanes were unable to match the score before the end of the period, that means they started the second period facing a deficit for the first time this season.

Aho and Lorentz found the back of the net within two and a half minutes in the second period.

Aho has earned at least one point in each of the Hurricanes’ games this season.

Lorentz’s goal was his first of the season.
