Frédéric Lopez: Revelations on his beautiful project with his discreet son Victor

Sunday, October 23, Frederic Lopezemblematic animator of Meeting in unknown landwill be making a comeback on France 2 with a new show called Sunday in the countryside. This show is almost a carbon copy of The unexpected parenthesis which he hosted from 2012 to 2014 on this same channel. “Personalities meet in a house, in the countryside, far from the hustle and bustle, to tell their story, their itinerary, talking about both successes and failures and, above all, how they overcame obstacles. Which is very inspiring.” This is how Frédéric Lopez sold the concept of his new show in the latest issue of TV 7 Days published this Sunday, October 16, 2022. For this first issue, guests will be Bigflo and Oli, Barbara Schulz and Charlotte of Turckheim.

But two other rather special guests will also be present for this first Sunday in the countrysideThose are Victor, the son of Frédéric Lopez and his girlfriend. A scoop that the host had already revealed to TV Star last July. It is with his son that Frédéric Lopez develops a YouTube format called You’ll love it and that “will probably be online from January”he announced to TV 7 Days. “My son and one of his friends will introduce people of their generation that I didn’t know existed. In return, I will introduce them to personalities they don’t know, such as shrinks Boris Cyrulnik and Christophe André”he added.

Frédéric Lopez, an “ultra-protective” father for his son Victor

Discreet about his family life, Frédéric Lopez rarely confides in his only son Victor. The latter wishes at all costs to avoid media overexposure. The host had, however, made some confidences about his 26-year-old boy in an interview with Entertainment TV in December 2016: He doesn’t want to be ‘son of’. When he has friends who come to the house, he removes all the photos where we are both (…) What is funny is that I have always seen myself as an absent father, whereas he sees me as an ultra-protective father.”
