“After 23 years of loyal service, hard work and great pleasure, the time has come for me to move on. I will focus on managing the career of Pierre Lapointe and will be a consultant for my two favorite festivals, ”said Laurent Saulnier, in a press release, referring to the Francos and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal.

The man who joined Équipe Spectra in 1999 as a programmer wanted to thank the artists who “made him experience so many emotions”, as well as the festival-goers. “Every day, I thought about you a lot,” he says.

Laurent Saulnier’s team will now be led by Maurin Auxéméry, director of programming, cultural events and festivals at Spectra.

“The entire Groupe CH team joins me in thanking Laurent Saulnier for the dynamism he has shown as well as for his passion and his many contributions,” said France Margaret Bélanger, President, Sports and Entertainment, of the CH Group.

Les Francos will be held from June 9 to 18, while the Jazz Festival will be in full swing from June 30 to July 9.
