After the coup of the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ) Saturday evening at the Bell Center and the Videotron Center, the president of the alliance, Julie Bouchard, denounced the Prime Minister’s speech in an interview with LCN.

“It’s disinformation that François Legault is spreading by saying that negotiations are more difficult with the FIQ even though we have been negotiating hard since the very beginning of the week. The days and evenings are very long and the nights are very short,” says the president of the FIQ.
“Every time Mr. Legault or Ms. LeBel speaks in public, denouncing things that are not true, it wastes precious time at the negotiating table,” adds Ms. Bouchard.

Remember that the FIQ will be on strike again from December 11 to 14, after the walkout days last November.
These days are part of the movement of demands of public sector employees also represented by the Autonomous Federation of Education (FAE), on an unlimited general strike since November 23, and the Common Front which will also be on strike from November 8 to December 14.
