We no longer see François Legault on TV! Disappeared ! Or he relaxes on a beach in Florida or Mexico, which is what many prime ministers did, at least for Florida. François Legault undoubtedly listened to his close advisors by choosing to move away from the public scene, especially during negotiations with the public sector. The man was obviously talking too much!
And the Coalition Avenir Québec, according to polls, is still falling. The honeymoon with the population seems to be over. Such is politics. Justin Trudeau suffers the same fate. Politics, at least in a democracy, is truly ephemeral. No doubt it’s better this way. All politicians are condemned, one day or another, to a certain humility…
