François Hollande’s candidacy is “pathetic”, says Éric Dupond-Moretti

The campaign for the legislative elections is launched on Monday June 17. “In around sixty constituencies, we decided not to nominate a candidate, because we thought, responsibly, that it favored the extreme right or the extreme left”, explains Éric Dupond-Moretti. While François Hollande is a candidate for the legislative elections in Corrèze, the Minister of Justice judges that this candidacy is “pathetic”. “Today he is in compromise with those he so vilified”he argues.

Regarding the dissolution of the National Assembly, Éric Dupond-Moretti believes that “That’s what had to be done.” “We were under constant threat of the motion of censure”, he says.
