It is always an event that closes the literary season. The Brive Book Fair will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year and for the occasion, the mayor of Brive has chosen to entrust the presidency to François Busnel, journalist and producer of the program “La Grande Librairie” on France 5.
After Bernard Pivot, Laure Adler, Antoine Gallimard, Laurent Gaudé or Didier Decoin, president of the Goncourt Academy, François Busnel will propose, with the general commissioner of the François David Book Fair, a program of meetings, readings and screenings .
“He is a man who has a sense of dialogue and public service, the desire to share culture with as many people as possible. This is also the mission of the Book Fair that the city has been organizing for 40 years”summarizes Frédéric Soulier.
The 40th edition of the Brive Book Fair will take place from November 4 to 6, 2022. Since its creation in 1981, more than 300 writers have been welcomed each year to present their latest works.
