François Braun, the Minister of Health, is sounding the alarm

The number of positive tests for Covid-19 is racing in France. Hearing in the National Assembly, the new Minister of Health François Braun revealed that the bar of 200,000 cases had been crossed on Tuesday July 5. To deal with the seventh wave, the executive again recommends wearing a mask in certain everyday places. “You have to put on your mask in crowded places, public transport, transport for holidays”said François Braun.

For the past week, 120,000 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded every day, on average, in France. In order to respond to the massive circulation of the virus, the government has presented a new bill, with the aim of setting up a health pass at the borders. Another alarming indicator, more than 1,000 people are now hospitalized in critical care. Faced with this resumption of the pandemic, many people wish to receive a fourth dose of vaccine.
