President of MoDem, François Bayrou announced, Wednesday February 7, his decision not to enter the government. He was also not kind to him, whom he considered too Parisian and too technocratic.
Following his resounding refusal to enter the government, François Bayrou justifies his decision on a lack of deep agreement with the government on the policy to follow. “What I see is the multiplication of indications according to which we are not going to balance or stop the crisis, but we act as if it did not exist not”, indicates the president of the MoDem. François Bayrou assures that the MoDem remains in the majority, but he refuses to commit to voting on the texts of the next government in the National Assembly.
