François Arnaud will join Sophie Nélisse in the second season of Yellowjackets. The Quebec actor will appear in four episodes of the popular psychological drama, which is due to return to the American network Showtime in the spring, reports variety.


François Arnaud, who can currently be seen at the cinema in December 23will play the character of Paul, who is described as “a New York author and the secret lover of Ben Scott (Steven Krueger)”, the coach of the group of students at the heart of the story.

Surprise success of 2021, the series Yellowjackets chronicles the misadventures of a New Jersey soccer team in survival mode after the plane that was to take them to the national junior championships crashes in the wilderness. The story is told on two separate timelines. On the one hand, we follow their perilous journey through the post-crash forest in the heart of the 1990s; on the other, we explore how some of them try, 25 years after being rescued, to lead a normal existence. Sophie Nélisse plays young Shauna, one of the survivors.

François Arnaud is no stranger to American series. In recent years, it has notably appeared in the credits of Midnight, Texas (NBC), The Moodys (FOX) and UnREAL (Lifetime). Moreover, it is indicated that he has just finished filming the English-Canadian adaptation of Plan B, which will air on CBC.

Following Yellowjackets is due to air on March 24. In Quebec, the first season is available on Crave.
