Franck (Love is in the meadow) pessimistic about his romantic future: “I met two people but…” (EXCLUDED)

M6 viewers who followed Love is in the meadow 2021 were able to meet Frank. The 48-year-old forester and market gardener received Anne-Lise and Cécile at his home in New Aquitaine. After having lived a very short idyll with the first, he got into a relationship with the second. But four months later, the two candidates broke up, for reasons that the farmer explained to Purepeople. He then confided in his love life following this separation.

Have you been dating since you were single?

I did two, but it was inconclusive.

Were you contacted by former suitors after the announcement of your breakup with Cécile?

Yes, but I prefer to keep them as friends rather than try a love affair. I reviewed them all afterwards. We had a picnic on my island [en Nouvelle-Aquitaine, NDLR]. We had a great time, these are wonderful stories of friendship.

Do you still believe in love?

I do not know. Cécile, I believed in it so much, it was so obvious. Moreover, with the two people I met afterwards, it was frank and complete, but perhaps less profound than with Cécile. So I couldn’t get the flame. Is that why it didn’t work? Did I shut myself down? I liked the people I met very much. I ask only to know love. But the person has to understand that I am an old bachelor who has never had a life together. So you have to go gradually. This is the mistake I made during the adventure, I wanted someone to come and live here. I saw the practical side too much and I think that’s what really upset Anne-Lise. I apologize, poor thing. I said it was convenient because she could come and live directly with me. But I should also have said that I had a strong attraction to her. It was careless of me. I was not very up to it, I was overwhelmed by what was at stake. It’s not easy to make a choice.
