On November 8 on TF1, fans of Franck Dubosc will be able to find him in the work of Ludovic Colbeau-Justin entitled “The last part”. On screen, the artist plays a character who tries to improve his relationship with his dying father. For the actor, this filming was not easy. For “Télé Star” on newsstands this Monday, November 1, the actor spoke at length about this. “The misfortune made that my mother was at the end of her life during the filming, so all my attention, all my concerns went to her,” he explained to our colleagues.
Despite this tragedy, Franck Dubosc has managed to take a step back from his acting. “It allowed me to detach myself from what I was playing and not let myself be overwhelmed by emotion during the takes,” said Raphaël and Milhan’s dad. If a sequence of fiction moved the star, it has no connection with her mother. “During the scene of the last part of scrabble, the atmosphere was special, because everyone knew that it had really taken place between my father and me”, recalled the husband of Danièle Dubosc.
As for his father, suffering from Charcot’s disease, he chose euthanasia to shorten his suffering in 2002. Unfortunately, the latter was never able to witness his son’s extraordinary career. “He dreamed of me doing the Olympia,” admitted Franck Dubosc. “For him, that was success. His way of telling me was to draw me on the stage – like a child’s drawing, because he no longer had control over his gestures – but, alas, he couldn’t come. ”
