Franck Dubosc and Emmanuelle Devos are starring in “Joyful Christmas”

For Vincent, Christmas is sacred and is celebrated with the family. The desertion of his children weighs him down enormously. His wife would almost rejoice. He then scours the nursing homes to find an ancestor to bring back to his table. Two Danielle Aunties set their New Year’s Eve on fire, literally and figuratively. In the role of the good Samaritan caught in his own trap, Franck Dubosc surprises.

Emmanuelle Devos’ wish

The actor does not remember such a nightmarish New Year’s Eve. “I’ve never had an awful Christmas.”he assures, before continuing: “There was one where I played Santa Claus (…) for little girls at a friend’s house. I scared them and made them cry.” For her part, Emmanuelle Devos, whose first comedy this is, excels and has only one wish: “As a Christmas present, I would like the film to work.”she hopes.
