Francis Lalanne fired from the show Fort Boyard: his radical gesture

If there is one thing that cannot be taken away from Francis Lalanne, it is his outspokenness. Indeed, the singer does not hesitate to rant when something displeases him and it is this character that the producer of Fort Boyard wanted to highlight on his show.

Only here, it was in 2020 just before the end of the first confinement that Francis Lalanne discovered that he had been ousted by the company Adventure Line Productions when he had the role of Narcisse Lalanne. The reason ? The production would have revealed that the insurance no longer covered “lPeople over 60 because of the Covid” according to information held by South West. But these arguments were not to the liking of the one who lost patience with Cyril Hanouna.

But this choice was not to the taste of Francis Lalanne who does not intend to let it go. Thus, the 63-year-old artist decided to take the case to the industrial tribunal. For him, it is not about the real reasons for which he was dismissed. According to the one whose antivax speech shockedthis would be linked to the fact that he belongs to the Yellow Vests movement while indicating that his former colleague playing Father Fouras was four years older than him.

Thus, a hearing took place this Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime. During this, Francis Lalanne’s lawyer would have demanded the disqualification of CDD signed between 2016 and 2019 in CDI. In total, he would also have requested: 20,000 euros in damages, 7,200 euros in compensation and the return of the clothes of the character played by the singer. A court decision is expected on May 12.

For its part Adventure Line Productions would have given another version to our colleagues. According to the company, the termination of Francis Lalanne’s contract with Fort Boyard would have taken place on March 9, 2020. In addition, the artistic director of the show would have sent him a message. The production lawyer reveals that there is no existing evidence concerning the evidence provided by Francis Lalanne. The end of this contract would only be linked to the fact that it was a temporary character. It remains to be seen who will prevail.
