Francis Huster “crazy” to have been in the casting of Here it all begins: his relatives did not all support him

In November 2020, TF1 decided to present its new original creation, namely Here it all begins, the little sister of Tomorrow belongs to us. The intrigues of the daily series take place again in Sète and within the Auguste Armand Institute, a prestigious cooking school. Many personalities have joined the cast such as Tom Darmon (Gérard Darmon’s grandson), Frédéric Diefenthal or even Francis Huster! And yes, even the 73-year-old comedian with an impressive theater and film career agreed to be part of the adventure by playing Auguste Armand, much to the surprise of those around him.

“Yes, 80% of my friends in the business told me I was crazy, But not at all. Times have changed, an actor must adapt. We must think of people who do not have the practical or financial means to go to the theater or the cinema. Some young people have discovered me in Here it all begins and I find it very good“, he defended in the pages of the new issue of here is released on November 5, 2021.

Francis Huster, however, did not stay long under the sun of Sète since, only two months after the launch of the fiction, his character disappeared. “The idea was to surprise and show that we are capable of anything. You should never think that the series will be a long quiet river …“, confided at the time the producer Sarah Farahmand for Leisure TV. Cristiana Reali’s ex was also aware of this deadly end. “This was part of the arguments presented to him when we contacted him. We knew in fact that he had an intense theatrical activity and filming projects. But he was also seduced by the character, by his harshness with his daughters in contrast to the gentleness and the pedagogy he displayed with his students.“, explained Sarah Farahmand.
