Francis Ford Coppola makes his comeback on the Croisette

The return of the godfather of Hollywood to the Croisette: Francis Ford Coppola climbs the steps of the Cannes Film Festival. “One of the geniuses of cinema”, “grandiose”, “visionary”, “fascinating” or “extraordinary” : the director makes everyone agree and festival-goers are full of praise for him.

He is even part of the very closed circle of nine directors who won two Palmes d’Or with “Secret Conversation” in 1974, then with “Apocalypse Now” in 1978. If we add to this “The Godfather” and “Dracula” , there is no doubt that the director has left his mark on the history of cinema. Today, he is back in competition with the film “Megalopolis”, a science fiction film that he himself financed to the tune of 150 million dollars!
