In Germany, the basket remains cheaper, but there have also been substantial increases. “France info made a price comparison between French and German supermarkets. But despite all of this still cheaper Oother–Rhine just in France, because the prices were there initially lower”continues the journalist. The other European neighbors are also affected by the phenomenon, “17% increase in the UK. In Italy, pasta is 30% more expensive”.
