The Ministry of Education wants to reintroduce mathematics in first and last year in the common core of lessons for the baccalaureate. The pupils of the CM2 class of the Fondary primary school in Paris ask their questions to Martin Andler, professor of mathematics emeritus at the University of Paris-Saclay, founder and vice-president of the Animath association, whose aim is to promote the taste and practice of mathematics among young people.
