The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are child’s play all summer with franceinfo junior and special broadcasts until July 25. Top athletes like swimmer Michaël Phelps are increasingly talking about the psychological problems they have experienced: depression, burnout or even violence.
Children are also interested in this subject and in a perhaps little-known profession: psychologist for sportsmen and sportswomen. To talk about it, the show hands the microphone to Élise Anckeart, she is a psychologist at the National Institute of Sport and Performance (INSEP) where she helps athletes prepare for competitions such as the Olympic Games.
Sarah starts the show with her question: “What problems do you face with athletes?” asks the schoolgirl. “Do athletes get stressed during the Olympics?” Alix continues.
