At the beginning of the year, scientists launched an appeal to preserve the underwater sound heritage and create a library that lists these sounds, in order to keep track of them. Among them: Lucia Di Iorio, researcher in eco-acoustics at the University of Perpignan. She is the guest of franceinfo junior to talk about this subject.
The questions are asked by Jeanne and Margot: “What is your job? What is your job for?” first ask the two young girls. Margot wonders how the scientist “records the sounds of sea animals”. She also wants to know where the researcher goes to get these recordings. “Do all dolphins have the same sounds?” then asks Jeanne.
