The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are child’s play all summer with franceinfo junior and special broadcasts until July 25.
The Paris 2024 Games want to be more ecologically responsible: transport, construction and renewable energy, but what about on the ground? This is the topic of the day that interests the young interviewers of franceinfo junior. To answer them: Emma Sarango, journalist at the Sports Department of Radio France.
The first question is asked by Lili: “What special environmental measures will be put in place during these Olympic Games?”
One of the major sources of pollution is transport and this raises questions for Nathan: “How will the organizers plan the movement of athletes and the public to make it as eco-friendly as possible?”
Lili wonders again: “Will the structures built for the Olympic Games be preserved after the event or destroyed?”
Finally, Esteban is concerned about the state of the Seine, where swimming events are to take place: “What will be the ecological consequences of cleaning the Seine?”
On this page, listen again in full to this special franceinfo junior Paris Games program on ecology.
