France Télévisions remains broadcaster of European cups until 2026

Broadcaster of the European Cups since their creation in 1995, the France Télévisions group has extended with I’European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR)the organizer, for the “next four seasons”, announced the instance.

The European cups will always be to follow on France Televisions. L’European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) announced Thursday, September 8 in a press release, the “renewal of agreements with its long-standing broadcast partners, beIN Sports and France Télévisions, on the retransmission of the Champions Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup in France for the next four seasons”.

A historical broadcaster of the competition since its launch in 1995, France Télévisions will broadcast two major Champions Cup posters on France 2, as well as a Challenge Cup match on France 3 each weekend. For its part, beIN Sports will broadcast “all Champions Cup matches in the group stage and knockout phase, as well as a selection of Challenge Cup matches, for four additional seasons, i.e. until the end of the 2025/2026 edition”, details the press release.

Note that this season, the European events include South African franchises for the first time.
