A special program on the conflict in Ukraine instead of the great political oral. In view of the situation in Ukraine and the Russian military operation, France Télévisions has decided to urgently deprogram the program “Elysée 2022”, scheduled for the evening of Thursday February 24. Marine Le Pen, candidate for the National Rally in the presidential election, was the guest of this new issue.

“We have decided, in agreement with Marine Le Pen with whom we spoke this morning, to move this program which will take place in the coming days”said the director of information for France Télévisions, Laurent Guimier, who co-hosts this political meeting live. “There will be no ‘Elysée 2022’ tonight, the show returns next week”he added on Europe 1 and on Twitter.

Instead, the public group will dedicate “two hours on a great special program with our special correspondents, our correspondents, experts and politicians too” for “to know and understand what is happening, and especially in what world we are entering from today with this war which has just been started in Ukraine”.

Since its launch in September, the program “Elysée 2022” has already seen a succession of Valérie Pécresse, Eric Zemmour, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Yannick Jadot on the set of France 2.
