Like an air of revenge. Six months after his defeat in the Euro 2023 final, on penalties (0-0, 4 tab 5), against Germany, the French team meets its rival in the final of the U17 World Cup, Saturday December 2 at 1 p.m., in Surakarta, Indonesia.

So far authors of a flawless performance, Mathis Lambourde’s teammates have only conceded one goal since the start of the competition, during their 2-1 victory against Mali in the semi-final. Against Germany, the fight is likely to be tough but in the event of victory, the Bleuets would offer France its second U17 World Cup. In 2001, the generation of Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle were crowned after a victory (3-0) against Nigeria.
