France recommends that its nationals “temporarily leave Iran”

The Quai d’Orsay alerted the French in Iran on Sunday due to a “risk of military escalation”.

After the night of strikes carried out by Iran and targeting Israel, the Quai d’Orsay recommends on Sunday April 14 that the French “leave temporarily” Iran, due to a “risk of military escalation”. “Due to the new level reached”the French embassy in Tehran also advises “to exercise the greatest caution when traveling” and “to avoid all gatherings”according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Quai d’Orsay specifies that“a telephone response cell has been opened at the French embassy in Iran”. She can be reached from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (local time) at +98 21 6409 4900. VFriday, Paris had already asked the French “to absolutely refrain from traveling to Iran, Lebanon, Israel and the Palestinian territories”.
