For Frédéric Petit, MoDem deputy for French people living abroad, questioned on Sunday February 13 on franceinfo, France should not “not yet” ask its nationals to leave Ukraine, as several Western countries have done. According to the United States, the threat of Russian invasion of Ukraine by Russia is becoming clearer. Moscow for its part denounces the‘”hysteria” American.

Frederic Little Judge “a little harsh” saying that France’s diplomatic initiatives vis-à-vis Russia are not bearing fruit. “The resumption of the Normandy format made official by President Putin is still something important. (…) It takes time, we’ll see what actually happens (…) I’m happy of what the President of the Republic has done, I believe that Europe is in the process of regaining control”rejoices the deputy.

For Frédéric Petit, a possible war “will not start by crossing the border” from Russia. “We are no longer at the time when we start the war like 40 years ago”. He “keep the assumption” that there are “a bit provocative maneuvers, but maneuvers”he analyzed.
