“France is the most beautiful country in the world”, quite proud to be ambassador of the Olympic flame, Jamel Debbouze silences Tony Parker!

Preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games are in full swing. This Friday, June 23, the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, organized a ceremony dedicated to the journey of the Olympic flame. We have therefore learned that she will leave Marseille on May 8, 2024 and will arrive in Paris on July 26 during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. In order to “carry” the flame to the capital, 10,000 torchbearers have been chosen to “take care” of the torch and ensure that it arrives safely. Among them: Thomas Pesquet, Marine Lorphelin, and Jamel Debbouze who were also present at this ceremony.

Happy to have participated in the organization of this grandiose sporting event, Anne Hidalgo spoke: “I am mayor of Paris and I have dual nationality, because I was not born in Paris” she declared in front of the public of the great amphitheater of the Sorbonne before losing her words slightly: “And uh Jamel, who is one of the best ambassadors in Paris, isn’t uh either… he may have been born in Paris, I don’t know, but in any case here it is…”. “In the Xth arrondissement”we corrected her before she spoke again and still seemed so lost: “10th arrondissement… but it has other origins”.

Far from being destabilized by the words of Anne Hidalgo, Jamel Debbouze also spoke: “I wanted to say thank you to the organizers without whom I would never have been able to return to the Sorbonne, he first quipped before continuing: “It’s a great honor to represent France, which is the most beautiful country of the world !”.

A nice declaration of love to our country after the criticism of the famous basketball player Tony Parker a few days ago. After declaring on the set of the program “Quelle Époque” on France 2, that the French are jealous of people who have a lot of money, he persisted in saying: “And when you are in France, in a country where everyone is negative and they complain all the time and they want to go on strike…” during an event organized in Nice.
