A list with elected officials from different political families. The La France Insoumise party unveiled, Wednesday March 6, its entire list for the European elections, which will be led by MEP Manon Aubry. Number 2 is Younous Omarjee, current president of the Committee on Regional Development in the European Parliament, and number 3 is MEP Marina Masure. This list is now subject to approval by members of the party, until Friday March 15 at noon via an online vote.

Also included in this list is lawyer Rima Hassan, a Franco-Palestinian activist and jurist, in seventh position. The latter found herself at the center of a controversy, after October 7, when the host Arthur accused her on Instagram of “advocating Hamas terrorism and being a patent anti-Semite”. The lawyer, chosen among the 40 women of the year by Forbes magazine, replied that Arthur’s message “says a lot about the sexism and racism of this boomer”adding that the television and radio host “is disturbed by everything I built after leaving a Palestinian camp”.

There are also several political figures and those from civil society, with for example Muriel Pascal, former spokesperson for the Confédération paysanne, and beekeeper in Lozère, the labor inspector Anthony Smith (fourth position), or even the former environmentalist Damien Carême, who is in eighth position.
