This is a first obstacle to overcome in order to hope to join, for the sixth consecutive time, the final of the Euro basketball, on June 25th. With an outcome that they hope will be favorable this time. The players of the French basketball team begin their group stage by facing the German team, Thursday June 15, in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Despite the absence of two of its leaders (Marine Johannès and Gabby Williams), whom the staff of Les Bleues chose not to summon, the vice-champions of Europe will be favorites against a nation which had no longer managed to qualified for this competition for nearly 12 years. And who has not won since 2007.

After this warm-up within their reach, the Blues will have to have the unpredictable team from Great Britain (June 16, 3 p.m.) and the Slovenian co-host (June 18, 6 p.m.).
