France Bleu Pays de Savoie partner of La Grande Odyssée 2022

Since its first edition in January 2005, the Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc has been the annual dog sled event in Europe. This year, an exceptional sports platform is expected with 66 mushers and their 600 dog-athletes from major European mushing nations.

France Bleu Pays de Savoie, partner of the 18th edition of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc is supporting this event from January 8 to 19, 2022.

Each year, more than 50,000 spectators live a unique experience in the heart of 20 resorts, towns and villages in Savoie Mont Blanc in festive clothes for the occasion, by attending La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.

A show that is as accessible as possible for the public

A large number of access points are provided along the route so that on foot, on snowshoes, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and even ski touring, possibly accompanied by resort professionals, so that spectators can get as close as possible and in the middle of nature, to the passage of the teams. The public has the possibility to follow the evolution of mushers in real time via the official website of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.

  • Thursday January 13 at Valmorel – Red line from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Léo Simard
  • Sunday January 16 in Bessans – Passion mountain from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Christophe Chardon and Jean-Michel Asselin
  • Monday January 17 in Aussois – We are not immune … from 12pm to 1pm with Willy Rovelli
  • Tuesday January 18 at Val Cenis – Minute Papillon from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with Sidonie Bonnec
