Every year in France, forests absorb 70 million tonnes of CO². Metropolitan forests absorb 15% of annual carbon emissions

Bark beetles (which are insects) attack forests, especially spruces; and mainly in the Grand-Est, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. You just have to look at the forests of the region to notice it.
Global warming allows these insects to attack more fragile trees, develop and endanger forests.

Today, it is essential to think about the forests of tomorrow and to support forests to adapt them to climate change.

With you, France Bleu Besançon is committed to the Thise forest (Chailluz), Wednesday November 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We all meet at 9:00 am in the parking lot of the restaurant l’Olivier in Braillans.
