France Bleu Béarn-Bigorre makes you experience the Béarn Folies on the Champs Elysées in Paris on March 6, 2022

France Bleu Béarn-Bigorre will be at the rendezvous, on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, for the 1st edition of the Folies béarnaises on March 6th. As a high point, to mark the end of the Salon de l’Agriculture, 2022 ewes, 20 cattle and equine teams, shepherds, dancers, singers, Béarnais artists will parade in the heart of Paris, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., from the Arc de Triomphe and all along the Champs-Elysées, the most beautiful avenue in the world offered to pedestrians that day.

Henri IV, the polyphonies and brotherhoods of Béarn, many personalities: Anne Hidalgo, Hugues Aufray, Marcel Amont, Murray Head, Bruno Solo, Vianney, Miss France, Tony Estanguet, Nelson Monfort, Michel Feltin-Palas, Nicolas Doze, Denis Cheyssoux, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, Isabelle Ithurburu will celebrate Béarn…. And no less than 350 artists will take part in this great festive and life-size parade in the colors of Béarn Pyrénées.

The challenge for this festival of pastoralism is to highlight this ancestral know-how of Béarn, the profession of shepherd, the traditions of transhumance, which will soon be listed as intangible heritage by UNESCO. This pastoral and cultural event aims to discover and exchange with the general public rural areas in respect of nature.

France Bleu Béarn-Bigorre will make you live every minute of this unique event, thanks to a special device in the heart of the Champs-Elysées.
