The deadly fighting that has been raging for more than a week in Sudan has forced the international community to evacuate its nationals since Saturday, April 22. Two French military planes landed in Djibouti on Sunday with nearly 400 people on board, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Follow our live.
Europe and the United States are doing the same. Germany and Italy each evacuated some 100 and 300 people respectively from Sudan. Egypt has announced the evacuation “by land of 436 nationals”. The United Kingdom and the United States also announced the evacuation of their diplomats, with their families, when Turkey and other countries indicated that they would try to evacuate their nationals.

More than 400 dead. The violence, mainly in the capital and in Darfur, in the west, left more than 420 dead and 3,700 injured according to the World Health Organization (WHO). They have also displaced tens of thousands of people to other states in Sudan, or to Chad and Egypt.
