The French candidacy faces three other files: Belgium, Finland and a joint Latvia-Lithuania file. UEFA will announce its decision on December 2.

This Euro will take place from January 20 to February 8, 2026. Two Parisian venues are planned if the organization is awarded: the Adidas Arena, located at Porte de la Chapelle in the 18th arrondissement, with a capacity of 7,800 seats , and the Pierre de Coubertin stadium, in the 16th arrondissement of the capital, which can accommodate 3,500 people. Sixteen nations are expected for this Euro and 32 matches are planned.

France has 40,000 Futsal licensees

The French indoor futsal team is currently one victory away from historic qualification for the next World Cup which will be held from September 14 to October 6, 2024 in Uzbekistan. To get their ticket for this world championship, the French will face Slovakia on December 14 in Laval, in Mayenne. They will then play one last match on December 20 in Germany.
