France recommended Monday, January 24 to its nationals to postpone non-essential travel to Ukraine, in the midst of escalating tensions with neighboring Russia. “As far as possible, it is advisable to postpone non-essential or urgent trips to Ukraine”, underlines the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its updated travel advice. “In the context of the tensions created by the concentration of Russian troops on the borders of Ukraine, it is recommended to exercise increased vigilance and it is strictly advised not to travel to the northern and eastern border areas. from the country”, is added.
