China, which is pursuing its zero Covid strategy, continues to confine, Tuesday, November 1. In an amusement park or in an iPhone production plant, the measures are strict.

After a case of Covid-19 detected in an amusement park in Shanghai on Monday, October 31, thousands of tourists remained stuck there until night. Tuesday morning, the attractions gave way to testing. More than 30,000 visitors found themselves stranded, framed by security. “You won’t be able to get out until you have negative PCR test results.”announced a voice over a loudspeaker.

Families waited for their results until 11:30 p.m. The others, who have returned home, will be tested three times over the next three days. The zero Covid policy continues in China, such as in Zhengzhou, at Foxconn’s largest factory. The iPhone maker has been confining workers there for more than two weeks inside the production workshops. With the fear of the virus and the lack of food, some decided to flee. According to estimates, 230 million people are still confined in China.
